A lack of magnesium in your diet may be contributing to premature ejaculation. Western diets are notoriously lacking in magnesium. Magnesium plays an important role in the contraction and relaxation of muscles, the function of certain enzymes, the production and transport of energy, and in the production of protein. You should be taking in about 400 – 420 milligrams of magnesium every day. To get your share of magnesium be sure to eat plenty of dark leaves like cooked spinach.  Another good source of magnesium are pumpkin and squash seeds.
